Kenneth Goins Obituary, Death; – Authorities have positively identified the individual who was fatally shot inside a D.C. restaurant during the weekend and have pressed charges against a man believed to have shot six individuals at a nearby nightclub just hours prior.
Law enforcement officers conducting patrols in northwest Washington were alerted by the sound of gunshots around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, leading them to a restaurant located in the 1300 block of U Street. Upon entering, they discovered a man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, recognized as 43-year-old Kenneth Goins from Salisbury, Maryland, was pronounced dead at the scene by officials. Authorities are currently searching for two suspects, one of whom was described as wearing a white or gray sweatshirt and riding a motorcycle.
