Maria Damata Obituary, 1 person dies, 4 others injured in rollover crash in Willington
Maria Damata Obituary – A fatal rollover crash occurred in Willington on Saturday night, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to four others. The incident took place when a 21-year-old man from Bethel lost control of his vehicle while driving southbound on River Road at approximately 10:15 p.m.
The vehicle subsequently rolled over due to this loss of control. Tragically, a passenger in the vehicle, identified as 19-year-old Maria Damata from Bethel, sustained life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead. The driver and three additional passengers were transported to Hartford Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The driver, a 19-year-old male passenger, a 20-year-old female passenger, and a 21-year-old male passenger, all from Bethel, suffered minor injuries in the crash.
