Cortez Thomas Obituary, Birmingham man dead, woman injured, after being reported missing
Cortez Thomas Obituary – The quest for two missing Birmingham acquaintances concluded on Sunday, with one of them discovered deceased and the other found injured while walking along a street. Cortez Thomas, aged 31, and Teshonda Means, aged 26, were last observed around 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Birmingham’s Norwood neighborhood.
The pair was traveling on a three-wheel motorcycle, which was captured on a residential surveillance camera. On Sunday morning, passersby encountered Means walking in the northern part of Birmingham. She had sustained injuries and was subsequently transported to a medical facility. Shortly thereafter, Thomas was discovered deceased next to the three-wheeler in a patch of overgrown grass near an abandoned residence. The specific location was 20th Street and 15th Avenue North in the Druid Hills neighborhood.
