Walter Spooner Obituary – A fatal accident occurred near Warsaw on Saturday evening, resulting in the death of a man from Warsaw. The incident took place when a Ford F250 truck, traveling south on Missouri Highway 7 near W. Dam Access Road, veered off the right side of the road.
In an attempt to correct the course, the driver overcompensated, causing the truck to overturn and subsequently go off the left side of the road, overturning once again. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene, transporting the driver to the hospital due to severe injuries. Unfortunately, the passenger, identified as 64-year-old Walter Spooner from Warsaw, was pronounced dead at the scene. It is worth noting that both individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. This tragic incident marks the 23rd fatal crash of MSHP Troop A in the year 2024.
