Massania Malcolm Obituary, Man Allegedly Killed ‘Friend’s’ Girlfriend

Massania Malcolm Obituary – A man from Florida has been taken into custody three years after he reportedly shot and killed his friend’s girlfriend and abandoned her one-year-old daughter to perish in a hot car, according to People. Recently, 23-year-old Doujon Duwayne Griffiths was apprehended during a traffic stop in Linden, N.J. Griffiths had active murder warrants from Orange County, Florida related to the 2021 deaths of 20-year-old Massania Malcolm and her one-year-old daughter Jordania.

Additionally, the 23-year-old is charged with attempted murder for shooting Malcolm’s boyfriend, who is also his “friend” and the father of the one-year-old girl. The incident occurred in the early hours of September 7, 2021, when law enforcement responded to a shooting at an apartment in Pine Castle, Florida. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man, identified as Malcolm’s boyfriend, suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to the Orange County sheriff’s office, the man was only able to inform deputies that he was shot by a ‘friend’ before being taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. Fortunately, he survived the attack. Two days after the shooting, a relative of the man informed authorities that they were unable to contact his girlfriend or one-year-old daughter. The victim of the shooting later informed the police that his friend, Griffiths, shot him from the back seat of the vehicle while he was driving. He mentioned that his girlfriend may have also been shot and drove away in the car with her and their daughter.

Subsequently, the sheriff’s office located the vehicle with the bodies of Malcolm and the infant inside. Malcolm had been fatally shot, while Jordania likely perished due to the heat inside the car, as per authorities. Investigators suspect that a dispute arose between the “friends” due to Griffith’s alleged failure to contribute to the household during his stay.
