Otha Rockett Obituary, 78-year-old man killed, 3 others injured in Pickens County crash
Otha Rockett Obituary – A fatal accident occurred in Pickens County on Thursday night, resulting in the death of a man from Mississippi. The victim, identified as Otha D. Rockett, was 78 years old and resided in Columbus. The collision took place at approximately 8:45 p.m. on U.S. 82, around five miles west of Reform.
According to Trooper Cpl. Reginal King, Rockett was driving a Chrysler 300 when her vehicle was struck by a Toyota Tundra driven by Larry E. Davidson, a 65-year-old resident of Reform. Sadly, Rockett was pronounced dead at the scene, while her 71-year-old passenger, Emma L. Rockett, was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Davidson and his 22-year-old passenger, Jacob H. Davidson, sustained injuries and were transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. The investigation into the incident is currently being conducted by the state troopers.
