On Tuesday, law enforcement officials confirmed that the pedestrian was Robert D. Love, a 39-year-old resident of Amelia. The Ohio State Patrol’s Batavia post is spearheading the inquiry and treating it as a hit-and-run case, as the vehicle involved allegedly fled the scene following the collision in the westbound lanes.
