Robert Joe Mageno Obituary – The Riverside Police Department has announced the arrest of Christopher Jacob Lennox, a 27-year-old individual. Lennox is accused of shooting and killing his roommate, as well as critically injuring his girlfriend during an incident over the weekend.

The shooting took place in the residential area of Canberra Way, which is situated near the intersection of Mission Grove Parkway South and East Alessandro Boulevard. The incident was reported around noon on Sunday, March 31. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. Sadly, 75-year-old Robert Joe Mageno was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim was transported to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition.

Witnesses at the scene were able to identify the suspect, leading to his swift apprehension by authorities. The name of Lennox’s girlfriend has not been released by the authorities. The investigation has revealed that Mageno and Lennox were roommates. Allegedly, Lennox shot his girlfriend during an argument, and as she left the room, Mageno emerged from his room and was also shot by Lennox. After being shot, Lennox’s girlfriend managed to flee across the street, and a handgun was subsequently recovered from inside the residence. Lennox has been detained and is now being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center.

He has been charged with murder, attempted murder, domestic violence, and weapons violations. His bail has been set at $1 million.
