Roger Harris,Damien Antonio Minard Obituary – The identities of the two men killed in separate homicides have been disclosed by the authorities. Roger Harris, aged 47, and Damien Antonio Minard, aged 43, were identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. Harris, a resident of Birmingham, was fatally shot just before 7:30 a.m. on Monday in the parking lot of FireRock Products at 3620 Avenue C in Fairfield.
He was an employee on a break when he was targeted and shot multiple times. Harris was rushed to UAB Hospital but was pronounced dead at 8:15 a.m. Minard, also from Birmingham, was discovered dead on Saturday in Midfield. Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call reporting gunshots at 2:01 a.m. in the 1300 block of Woodward Road.
Upon arrival, Minard was found with gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene at 2:22 a.m. No arrests have been made in connection with either of the killings.
