Shadrick Johnson Obituary, Peoria man,35, killed in scooter crash identified
Shadrick Johnson Obituary – Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood has officially identified the individual involved in the scooter accident that occurred on Monday. Shadrick Johnson, aged 35, was taken to OSF Healthcare in critical condition, as stated on Harwood’s Facebook page. Despite the medical team’s efforts to revive him, Johnson was declared deceased in the Trauma Room shortly after 5 p.m.
The cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt force trauma injuries sustained from the collision between his scooter and a car. Authorities investigating the incident concluded that Johnson had disregarded a stop sign before being struck by the vehicle at the intersection of Arago and Grinnell Streets in South Peoria. The driver of the car was unharmed in the accident. The results of the toxicology report are still pending.
