Walter D. Watkins Jr Obituary, – The deceased individual in a fatal early morning collision in Winston County has been named as Walter D. Watkins Jr., a 52-year-old resident of Bankston, according to the Alabama State Troopers. The incident occurred at 4:50 a.m. on Tuesday along Alabama 13 close to U.S. 278, just under a mile away from Lynn. Senior Trooper Cody Farrar reported that Watkins was operating a Harley Davidson when it veered off the road and flipped over. Following the crash, Watkins was ejected from the motorcycle and declared deceased at the scene.
