Yevheniia Koval Obituary, Girl, 14, murder 79-year-old grandmother in Lauderdale Lakes
Yevheniia Koval Obituary – Authorities in Broward County have announced that a 14-year-old girl is now facing a murder charge after allegedly killing her 79-year-old grandmother. The Broward Sheriff’s Office reported that the teen was arrested on Friday following an investigation into the death of Yevheniia Koval.
Emergency responders were called to a residence on Northwest 41st Street in Lauderdale Lakes, where they found the victim’s son. He had left his daughter alone with Koval, and upon returning home, discovered his mother unresponsive with visible bruises. After conducting their investigation, deputies determined that the teenage girl was the prime suspect in the murder. The identity of the girl has not been disclosed, and she is currently charged with second-degree murder.
