Caleb Goodrich of Auburn Obituary, Motorcyclist killed in Coachella Valley crash identified

Caleb Goodrich of Auburn Obituary, – Caleb Goodrich of Auburn, a 31-year-old motorcyclist, was tragically killed in a collision with a vehicle at an intersection in Palm Springs. The coroner identified Goodrich on Tuesday. The accident occurred when Goodrich was traveling north on the North Gene Autry Trail at around 8 p.m. on Sunday.

He collided with a vehicle that was making a left turn onto East Via Escuela from the opposite direction. Sadly, Goodrich lost his life at the scene, while the other driver, a 64-year-old resident of Rancho Mirage, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The Palm Springs police confirmed that the crash was not influenced by drugs or alcohol. As a result of the incident, the North Gene Autry Trail was closed overnight and reopened the following morning.
