Expedito Cuesta De Leon Obituary – New information was disclosed on Tuesday regarding the fatal ambush of a UPS driver in Orange County, California. Reports revealed that the victim, Expedito Cuesta De Leon, 50, from Aliso Viejo, was allegedly targeted and killed by a childhood acquaintance.

The incident occurred on May 16 when De Leon was shot 14 times in his delivery van after completing a delivery at approximately 3 p.m. The masked assailant, identified as Rhean Jalipa Fontanoza, 46, fled the scene but was apprehended by authorities following a standoff with a SWAT team. Both De Leon and Fontanoza were UPS employees and childhood friends who resided in the same neighborhood.

Fontanoza, who was on disability leave at the time, is accused of tracking down De Leon on his delivery route and carrying out the attack. Fontanoza allegedly conducted surveillance on De Leon’s movements before opening fire on him as he returned to his vehicle. Fontanoza was subsequently arrested and is facing charges related to the incident.
