Jessica Kennedy Obituary – On January 5, 2021, the lifeless body of Jessica Kennedy, aged 39, was discovered in an apartment located close to 35th Avenue and Bell Road. Upon entering the apartment, law enforcement officers found Jessica with a gunshot wound to the head, yet no weapon was found at the scene, as stated by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
Cecil Noyola, Kennedy’s boyfriend, initially fled Arizona but eventually surrendered himself to the authorities. “He confessed to passing the gun to an acquaintance; the weapon was retrieved following the acquaintance’s arrest,” MCAO reported. Noyola, aged 64, has been found guilty of second-degree murder and evidence tampering.
His sentencing is set for May 20. “This perpetrator fatally shot his girlfriend, abandoned her to perish, and then took every measure to evade responsibility,” expressed Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell. “I trust that Jessica is aware of our unwavering efforts over the past three years to secure justice for her. To her family and dear ones, I hope this marks the beginning of their path toward recovery.”
